This Privacy Policy applies to the Mumble AI services (“Mumble AI”, “Mumble” or the “Platform”), namely the Mumble AI application for macOS desktop. Mumble AI is provided by Narya.ai Inc. (“we” or “us”), a corporation building productivity software, including Mumble AI.
We recognize that your privacy is very important, and we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and otherwise process your personal information in connection with our services.
This Privacy Policy applies globally, with jurisdiction-specific provisions detailed in the Supplemental Terms: Jurisdiction-Specific section. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Mumble AI.
Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy covers personal information we process when you install and use the Mumble AI macOS application, and interact with our related services, support channels, and communications. If you use other products operated by us (such as Mumble Note for iOS), those products may be covered by separate privacy policies.
1. What Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Account and registration information. You may provide us with information when you create or access an account, including name or display name, email address, password or authentication credentials, and third-party account identifiers (e.g., Google or Apple ID).
Voice, meeting, and note content. When you use Mumble AI, you may provide audio recordings (e.g., meeting recordings, voice notes, memos), transcriptions and summaries, text notes, edits, comments, tags, and instructions or prompts you provide to AI features. We transform audio and other content into text and structured outputs using automatic speech recognition, OCR where applicable, and AI technology.
Files and other content you upload or attach. You may upload or link documents, images, screenshots, recordings, links, and other files and attachments associated with meetings or notes.
Connected services and integrations. When you connect third-party services to Mumble AI, we may access and store data such as calendar event details (Google Calendar), contact information (Google Contacts), and data from other productivity tools you explicitly connect.
Information you provide when contacting us. When you contact us for support, feedback, or bug reports, we may collect your name, email address, account details, screenshots, logs, and the content of your communications.
1.2 Automatically Collected Information
Device and technical information. We may collect device type and model, operating system version, Mumble AI application version and settings, language and region settings, and hardware and performance information.
Usage information. We may collect information about features you use and how you use them, in-app navigation and interaction events, timestamps and session duration, and error codes, crash reports, and diagnostic data.
Cookies and similar technologies. If you use our websites or web-based features, we may use cookies, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies.
1.3 Information from Other Sources
We may receive information from third-party account providers (such as Google or Apple), publicly available sources, and from other people (e.g., where another user mentions you in notes or meeting content).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Service Provision: To deliver, maintain, and operate our services; create and manage your account; sync your data across devices and integrations.
- Communications: To communicate about your use of Mumble AI, send service-related notices, and respond to support inquiries.
- Marketing and Advertising: To send marketing information and special offers, where permitted by applicable law. You may opt out at any time.
- Improvement of Your Experience: To ensure effective content presentation, personalize your experience, and test and optimize new features.
- Safety, Security and Integrity: To detect and combat abuse, harmful activity, fraud, and illegal activity; protect your account and our services.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations, respond to lawful requests, and exercise or defend legal claims.
- Technology Development and Research: To train and improve models and technologies that power Mumble AI's features, in accordance with applicable law.
Google Workspace data. Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not share your personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share information: with your consent; with business partners including AI service providers, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, and payment providers; within our corporate group; in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or sales; and for legal reasons as required or permitted by law.
4. How We Store and Protect Your Information
Our primary servers are located in the United States. We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as necessary for the purposes described herein. We implement encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and authentication, data minimization and pseudonymization, and regular security reviews.
5. What Are Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable laws, you may have the right to: access and obtain a copy of your personal information; rectify or update it; delete your information or account; withdraw consent; unsubscribe from marketing; download your information in a commonly used format; and limit or object to certain processing. 6. How We Process Minors' Information
Mumble AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the Minimum Age.
7. International Transfers
We may process and transfer your personal information internationally. When we do, we take appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms where required.
8. Privacy Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version and change the “Last Updated” date. For significant changes, we will provide additional notice.

10. Language
This Privacy Policy is written in English. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
12. Supplemental Terms: Jurisdiction-Specific
12.1 Additional Notice for California Residents (CCPA)
In the past 12 months, we may have collected identifiers, internet or electronic network activity information, audio/electronic/visual information, geolocation data, and sensitive personal information. We have not “sold” or “shared” personal information of California residents. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, limit use of sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination.
12.2 Additional Notice for EEA Residents (GDPR)
The data controller is Narya.ai Inc. We process personal information based on consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligation, public interest, or vital interests. You have the right of access, rectification, withdrawal of consent, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. For international transfers from the EEA/UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
