HARDWARE PLUGINS

Your button.
Your microphone.

Bring a remote button or a device microphone into your dictation flow. Plugins connect the hardware; Mumble handles transcription and text insertion.

Hardware plugins are a Pro feature, available during your Pro trial. Anyone can browse and install; enabling and using a plugin requires Pro or an active trial. See Pro plans.

Install a plugin yourself

  1. Check the publisher, supported device, permissions, and license before downloading.
  2. Download the plugin ZIP. You do not need Node, Xcode, or another speech model.
  3. In a version of Mumble Dictation with plugin support, open Settings → Plugins and drop in the ZIP, or choose Install plugin to select it.
  4. Review the installation details, then enable the plugin and connect your device.

Plugins run code with your user account’s access. Install only software you trust. You can disable or remove a plugin in the app at any time.

Independent device compatibility

Device names identify compatibility. They do not imply authorization, sponsorship, or endorsement by the device manufacturer. Trademarks belong to their respective owners. Each plugin has its own license and publisher.

If you believe a listing or plugin infringes your rights, send details and supporting materials to feedback@heymumble.com. We will review the report and, where appropriate, remove the affected content or stop distribution.
